Bloodshot performed at the closing night of Magasin 4.
Together with Lenght of Time and All shall perish this was the last
show at Magasin ever , as the placed will be sold as an appartement building.
Anyway some pics of bloodshot’s gig

Had a very nice weekend as it was that time
of the year again for the exploration rally ,
A party with urban explorers from all over Europe .
This years location was Belgium (Bierbeek), less futuristic
then Germany last year but still a very nice place …
To much whisky and vodka , but hey we had a blast …
A pic from one of the rooms of the old hospital (St-Andre)
I just love this room !
My new screen also arrived (dell 2408WFP)
I’m glad I choose this one over Eizo or Lacie ,
as it’s only half the price , and the first impressions
are already very good . More on calibration later on ….
Oh and “Barbara” , thank you! :p
No sweet critters, no funky dj’s or nice ladies , no !
Dirty angry screaming men ! moehahaha …
People often ask me if I’m into metal and hardcore music
since I shoot those bands quite allot … .
Well I kinda like Lot’s of things , but my favourite choice
is something totally different , being more the jazzy , soul and loungy kinda guy.
I even used to dj (for those who missed that time within my life ) …
Then again when it comes to photography , there’s nothing so alive
on a stage then a metal or rock concert .
And hey , don’t let their appearance fool you, they are not so mean as they look :).
This sunday , I had a great time shooting the 2008 promo pics of Bloodshot,
which turned out to be a great end of the weekend.
Fun to do a shoot where things on location are not to serious and
myself and the models were laughing their ass of every 5 seconds …
Examples on top of this post , and one here below

Something I really suck in … Time Management !
May has and is still the most busy period for me ever,
and managing all these assignments is something I should
really work on in future .
For events and commercial shoots, I always tried to deliver
my work within 48hours , but doing several shoots a week
soon changes this , with a huge backlog as a result…
Anyway , in the meantime I amost finished all shoots
but let this be a lesson for you in future Robin …
Get yourself a descent agenda (which I did ) and start to manage !
Oh and yeah, a few pics below :
Just check out this little guy, damn cute
Not so cute , and totally different … Sound of Stereo
For the fans of electronic music and those
who like to shake their booty , make sure to check
them out . We will hear much more about them soon…
Shot in very low light conditions
Finally a pic that is kinda special
Auxigate (a dj) and Magali Cornet (photographer)
brother and sister’s passion combined in one pic.
just love ringflashes …
Ahhh, anyway , I do , the light and reflection created ,
shooting at a very close distance to the subject , is damn nice!
At least that’s my point of view …
There used to be a time that ,let’s call it “an older generation of photographers”
(have to watch my words here ) swore at using prime lenses and
I used to respond , aah, no hate to change lenses every 5 seconds
so give me a nice zoom-lens or two to cover the entire range I need .
Well, don’t get me wrong here , I still love zoom lenses and
the 24-70 and 70-200 have been the only lenses on my camera
since I bought it , but …. (there’s always a but …)
Today I mounted an old 24 mm on the cam and took it with me
at a restaurant with friends.
Ahh what a great relief , so light and instead of a whispering
fast focus , the cool sounds when the lens starts to “dance” ,
Yeah I know they have a name for this last word but I’m not
that much into specs and official terminology , shame on you Robin!
Anyway , to make a long story short, think I’m going to mount my
older primes a little bit more on the cam , as it just feels a lot more
comfortable and these older wide angles give you just a litte bit more
of that analog feeling , or is it just me …
Going to look for a second hand 20mm in the upcoming days,
so if someone has one in their cellar , let me know
Above pic is a snapshot from a friend (Julie) today with the 24mm @ 2.8
No so many inspiration at the moment …
Just enjoying the weather and being damn lazy , aahhhh
Although I have to process still quite a lot but that won’t happen today.
And off-course a post comes with a pic , at least most of the times …
Here’s a shot I took few weeks ago . It’s a promo poster for
a kids bowling hall . Kinda like the dynamic in this pic …
Gotta love this guy …
Mr Jamie Lidell , for those who don’t know him ,
make sure to check him out when you got the chance .
The best gig I attended in a long time , period !
He even got a tough security guy to sing along …
Support act was Gotye , also on Warp Records
which turned out to be a nice surprise
(and not only to find out he’s actually belgian )
